Is burgandy the new black? I took the chance to do an outfit post featuring this checkered long coat that I've always wanted to post. I never had the chance to do photoshoots during winter due to my busy schedule at university and the fact that I was far far away from my photographer. I did miss doing OOTD posts. In fact, this was my first post after my stressful exams. I got this lovely long coat from a market sale in East London, specifically at the Roman Road market. I need to go back to that place! ( Ohhhh, I miss my east life..)

I decided to add the fendora hat which totally matched the outfit. No matter what, hats will always compliment a person. My top is no special shirt. It's an oversize tee which I believe I borrowed from my guy friend and I completely forgot to return it ( at this point I am actually doubting myself. I don't think I forgot to return the white tee, I just really like the shirt. Oooops!)
I got the black skirt from a car boot sale (bargain!). I admire how the skirt dances with the wind and somehow makes this outfit a little "girly". The wedged sandals I wore for this outfit is one of my favourites. I think it works with any outfit specially if your aiming to have that simple look yet giving a hint of class.
